If you or your teen suffers from crooked teeth or a misaligned bite, orthodontic treatment may greatly enhance your self-confidence and quality of life. At 7 Day Dental, we proudly offer  Invisalign®. An extremely effective method to enhance the look of your smile, improve your oral function, and help to prevent future oral health problems. At your initial consultation, Dr. Jing or one of our other dentists will explain more about your options and help you choose the right type of orthodontic care for your needs.

Alternatives to Traditional Braces

If you are hesitant to undergo orthodontic treatment because you do not want to deal with several years of metal brackets and wires, you may want to consider Invisalign. This treatment provides comparable results to traditional braces, using clear, custom-made aligner trays to straighten your teeth. Invisalign is suitable for cosmetic adjustments, as well as more severe malocclusion. However, while Invisalign is highly effective for most patients, this option is not suitable for everyone. Dr. Jing or his associates will help you determine the appropriate treatment for you.

If you only have slight misalignment that does not affect your dental health or functionality, veneers or bonding may be good options. These treatments can close gaps between teeth and make minor orthodontic adjustments using color-matched porcelain or composite resin. Bear in mind, however, that these treatments are intended for cosmetic purposes only.

Advantages of Orthodontic Treatment

Orthodontic care can have enormous benefits for your health and overall quality of life. These advantages include:

  • A reduced risk for decay
  • Reduced chances of dental erosion and structural damage
  • Lower risk for TMD and bruxism
  • Improved appearance and self-confidence
